About The Position

Cleveland Clinic Akron General’s 52A Surgical Unit is a post-surgical unit specializing in general surgeries such as bariatric gastric sleeve, Roux-en-Y, cholecystectomy, thyroidectomy, colostomy and urostomy procedures. It is also the primary trauma floor for patients who do not require ICU care. Patients may arrive directly from the PACU or ED and require close monitoring and mobilization.
