About The Position
The RN Acute Care Clinical Care Annex position is an onsite nursing role at UCHealth Anschutz Inpatient Pavilion in Aurora, Colorado. The position is full time at 72 hours per two-week pay period, with rotating day and night shifts. Pay is $35.29–$54.71 per hour, depending on relevant experience. The RN provides direct patient care in specialty acute care (medical-surgical) units with moderate to high patient acuity, using the nursing process and evidence-based practice. The role emphasizes multidisciplinary teamwork, patient-centered wellness, safety, quality, and professional development. Clinical educators support individualized specialty education and competency validation during clinical orientation. The RN may also precept people who are new to healthcare or UCHealth.
Requirements
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- At least 6 months of nursing (RN) experience.
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing-approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if the applicant has less than 3 years of experience.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification and any relevant life support certification required for the position level.
- BLS through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross, with the card in hand before the start date; the card must remain valid through 60 days after hire. Renewals must be issued by the American Heart Association.
