Exciting opportunity to become part of the Primary Care Network team! Internal Medicine practice providing outpatient services for the adult population 18 years and older. Includes preventative health maintenance, chronic and acute care needs. The RN will be part of a team comprised of LPN’s, Ambulatory Techs, Physicians and APP’s. Responsibilities include telephone triage, direct patient care, medication/vaccine administration, minor laboratory testing as well as patient teaching and health education. Must possess strong assessment and communication skills along with the ability to work independently. Supervision of LPN’s, Ambulatory Techs as assigned.

Requirements

One to two years of experience in direct nursing care required.
Strong assessment and communication skills.
Ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

Provision of competent direct patient care based on established standards.
Contributes to unit activities and supports enhancement of the care delivery system at the unit level.
Supports peers in the delivery of patient care services and assumes an expanded role which may include charge nurse, preceptor, and committee member responsibilities.
Telephone triage.
Direct patient care.
Medication/vaccine administration.
Minor laboratory testing.
Patient teaching and health education.
Supervision of LPN’s, Ambulatory Techs as assigned.
