About The Position
The RMA Tester will be responsible for testing returned products from RMAs and other in-house products. This role requires strict adherence to ESD compliance, visual inspection of assemblies, performing specified tests, and accurately documenting test results. The individual will also be responsible for maintaining a clean work area and segregating product types.
Requirements
- Basic computer skills
- Good communication skills
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
Nice To Haves
- 6 – 12 months related experience preferred
- Some high school or technical school (electronics); diploma preferred
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
Responsibilities
- Strictly follow ESD compliance process and procedures.
- Perform visual inspection of assemblies prior to testing, checking for gross defects.
- Perform specified test(s) on assemblies, complying to any specific priorities, if stated.
- Alert supervisor or Test Engineering Materials of malfunctioning test equipment or repetitive failures.
- Label/tag test rejects with descriptive cause of failure.
- Make test result entries in the applicable spreadsheets or in the Epicor Log.
- Keep work-in-process, accepted product, rejected product segregated from each other, at all times.
- Maintain a neat and orderly work area.
- Assist in other areas, as assigned.
