About The Position

Mitutoyo America Corporation, a global leader in precision measuring instruments and metrology solutions, is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused RMA Coordinator to join our Customer Service team. In this role, you will manage the Return Material Authorization (RMA) process from start to finish, helping ensure a positive customer experience while coordinating product returns, replacements, credits, and issue resolution. This position serves as a key liaison between customers and internal departments to ensure timely and accurate handling of returned products.

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum of one year of customer service, administrative, logistics, or related experience preferred.
  • Experience processing returns, credits, or warranty claims is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Review and process customer return requests in accordance with company policies.
  • Issue and manage Return Material Authorizations (RMAs).
  • Track returned products and monitor the status of returns through completion.
  • Coordinate with Customer Service, Inventory, Shipping, and other departments to resolve issues and expedite deliveries.
  • Authorize reasonable credits for defective or returned products, subject to management approval.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to returns, replacements, and credits.
  • Communicate with customers regarding return status, product replacements, and resolutions.
  • Provide backup support to the Customer Service team by answering customer phone calls and emails.
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures and quality standards throughout the return process.
