About The Position

Thermea Spa Village Whitby is seeking a Ritual Artisan to join their team. This role is part of a wellness village that offers a unique spa experience inspired by global rituals and a Canadian character. The spa aims to provide guests with a peaceful refuge from modern life, promoting well-being and happiness. The Ritual Artisan will play a key role in delivering unforgettable experiences to guests through various spa rituals and treatments, contributing to the overall mission of cultivating peace and well-being.

Requirements

Nice To Haves

Experience in guest services, the wellness, hospitality (yoga, dance, theater) or tourism industry.
Exposure/knowledge of aromatherapy, self-care practices, and wellness initiatives.
Affinity with nature and enjoyment of learning about herbs and plants.

Responsibilities

Perform daily rituals and treatments to spa guests, ensuring an unforgettable experience.
Facilitate guided meditations, steam room body-treatments, stretching in a sauna, and Aufguss (a sauna ritual involving towel waving, aromatherapy, and music).
Provide impeccable customer experience according to brand standards.
Participate in the creation of new rituals and integration of global treatments.
Participate in continuous training and development.
Follow daily processes and rituals.
Facilitate yoga-inspired stretching and guided meditations.
Facilitate body treatments in steam rooms.
Participate in organizing events, seminars, and workshops.
Participate in opening and closing activities, ensuring cleanliness and safety.
Perform any other related duties.
