About The Position

As an RIT Co-op student with the Security Operations & Security Engineering team, you will support efforts to protect the system’s network and software. This co-op is for a student enrolled at the Rochester Institute of Technology for its duration and is based in a hybrid work environment. It is a full-time, Monday–Friday day schedule, running as a double block from January 2027 through August 2027. The student works under the direct supervision of a professional with limited responsibility and participates in meaningful activities related to their course of study and career interests.

Requirements

• Must be enrolled as a student at the Rochester Institute of Technology for the duration of the co-op.
• Background in a field of study that coincides with the department utilizing the co-op.

Nice To Haves

• Depending on the department, specific skills or qualifications may be preferred; for Information Technology, a background in programming, analysis, and testing of information systems is preferred.
