About The Position

Southwest Behavioral and Health Services is seeking a dedicated and professional Risk Specialist to join our dynamic Risk Management team. This role is responsible for a variety of support functions within the department, including performing various audits and reports as assigned. The ideal candidate will be organized, possess problem-solving abilities, and have excellent communication skills. This position offers a hybrid schedule, requiring on-site visits and completion of site visits. The role is based in Northern AZ or Mohave County.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Must possess proficient computer software skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Graphics/Charts, and internet searches)
  • Must have fingerprint clearance issued by the Arizona Department of Public Safety or be eligible to receive one upon job offer.
  • Reside in Northern AZ or Mohave County (Kingman, Bullhead City, Lake Havasu City, Prescott Valley, Payson or Flagstaff)

Nice To Haves

  • Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services field, business or related field preferred
  • 1-year Risk Management experience is great but not required

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for fleet management of all SBH vehicles, including maintaining/updating the fleet list and data entry into electronic systems (Fleets & WEX).
  • Oversees fleet maintenance, including emergency repairs, windshield repair/replacement, and facilitates, monitors, and tracks all vehicle maintenance with staff and outside vendors.
  • Processes motor vehicle reports, maintenance, and vehicle fuel invoices monthly.
  • Maintains and updates the SBH approved driver list.
  • Tracks and trends all fleet inspection results and audits fleet mileage.
  • Responsible for ordering/canceling gas cards for the fleet and obtaining fuel pins for authorized drivers.
  • Responsible for the production of requested fleet reports, including maintaining a utilization report on fleet vehicles.
  • Conducts NEO Risk management trainings for Admin.
  • Serves as backup for the Admin Safety Representative.
  • Responsible for completing records releases for Quality of Care concerns received.
  • Responsible for managing incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Assists in monitoring the Risk Management Helpdesk and assigning tickets.
  • Assists in IR follow-ups and backup reporting as needed.
  • Works with the team to produce reports, including Excel spreadsheets and charts.
  • Travels to Northern Arizona sites each quarter for onsite inspections/technical assistance.
  • Additional job duties may be required to meet the needs of the program and/or department to ensure compliance and adequate services.
