About The Position

The Risk Manager Registered Nurse RN is responsible for analyzing, interpreting, and managing information related to risk management, quality management, legal matters, and patient safety. This role requires strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with various professional and regulatory customers. The position demands self-direction, independence, and a goal-oriented approach, with a solid understanding of data collection and reporting. The Risk Manager will utilize MS Office, Excel, Sharepoint, EPIC, and RLT’s, and possess knowledge of CMS standards, JCAHO standards, THR – RLT (reliability learning tools), and RCA (root cause analysis). Investigative skills, including trend analysis and process improvement, are essential.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related healthcare field.
• 3 years of clinical experience.
• Valid clinical licensure for the discipline.
• BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly.

Nice To Haves

• 3 years of risk management, quality management, legal, or patient safety experience.
• CPHRM - Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management.
