About The Position

Registered Nurse RN OR Service Line Specialist Fulltime Days Bring your passion to Texas Health so we are Better + Together Work location: Texas Health Southwest 6100 Harris Parkway TX 76132 Work hours: Fulltime 40 hours per week Day Shift, Call and some holidays are required. Work Environment: Surgery OR Circulating - Collaborates with other team members (including anesthesiologist, surgeon, surgical technologist, etc) to ensure the safety of patients during the operation. Serves as clinical liaison to staff, surgeons and vendors. Promotes engagement through open lines of communication. Organizes face-to-face meetings as needed. Communicates products and services. Completes special projects and events as needed. Actively participates in training, orientation and mentoring of staff members while facilitating education on service line clinical, administrative, legal and financial requirements. Maintains par levels of special equipment and supply orders items specific to service line. Ensures that accurate and timely charges incorporated into service line surgeon preference cards. Works with clinical manager to coordinate capital and non-capital budget needs for service line. Attends and participates in clinical facilitator meetings.

Requirements

  • Nursing Diploma Nursing Req Or Associate's Degree Nursing Req Or Bachelor's Degree Nursing Pref
  • 1 Year perioperative services and circulating and/or scrubbing experience Req
  • RN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire Req
  • BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Req
  • A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
