The Risk Management Officer is responsible for the health and safety of all hotel guests and colleagues. This role involves providing warm, friendly, and helpful service, with a full understanding and execution of all aspects of the life safety system, including fire, evacuation, bomb threat, and emergency medical procedures. The officer must abide by and enforce all hotel policies and procedures, reporting any violations to management. This position requires documenting, filing, and reporting all incidents occurring within the hotel, conducting full investigations, and demonstrating the ability to effectively deal with colleagues and guests, using diplomacy to defuse anger and collect accurate information. Responsibilities also include patrolling assigned areas to ensure only authorized individuals are on the property, managing all Lost and Found procedures, ensuring package pass procedures are followed, and enforcing key control policies. The role may involve other assigned tasks.
