Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in enterprise‑level risk management or mission assurance
  • Experience mentoring, supervising, or guiding teams
  • Ability to design and implement risk management strategies and processes
  • Ability to translate risk insights into actionable recommendations
  • Ability to engage effectively with program leadership, risk owners, and cross‑functional partners
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting DoW or Army National Guard programs
  • Experience with contract and subcontract management risk
  • Experience facilitating large governance boards or executive‑level reviews
  • Possession of excellent analytical and communication skills
  • PMP, PMI-Risk Management Professional, or Agile Certifications

Responsibilities

  • Drive mission‑focused risk management and apply analytical risk management principles to help organizations prepare for, prevent, mitigate, respond to, and recover from emergencies.
  • Lead risk assessment activities and oversee identification and evaluation of performance, cost, schedule, personnel, contract, and subcontract management risks.
  • Engineer advanced solutions and apply your deep expertise and broad industry knowledge to develop innovative approaches to complex mission challenges.
  • Partner with risk owners, collaborate across functional teams to conduct probability and impact analyses, and define strategies that minimize or mitigate risk while optimizing opportunities.
  • Standardize and elevate practices and apply industry standards to build and execute structured strategies, plans, and processes supporting comprehensive risk capture and assessment.
  • Guide and mentor teams, operate independently, provide direction to team members, and build capability across the program.
