About The Position

The Risk Management & Compliance Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing and implementing risk management and compliance programs. This role requires a strong understanding of healthcare regulations and best practices, as well as the ability to analyze data, develop strategies, and collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure adherence to policies and procedures. The position is based in Lavonia, GA and is a full-time, day shift role.

Requirements

  • Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in a healthcare or legal program.
  • At least 2 years of risk management, compliance, quality/performance improvement, or coding and billing experience.
  • Training and experience in risk management, compliance, quality/performance improvement, or coding and billing.
  • Working knowledge of the principles and practices of Risk Management and Compliance.
  • Ability to plan, organize, and coordinate varied projects and operations.
  • Ability to present ideas effectively, orally and in writing, to a diverse audience.
  • Ability to deal constructively with conflict.
  • Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data from a variety of sources and take appropriate action.
  • Working knowledge of current policies/procedures and laws/regulations which relate to various aspects of care and services rendered.
  • Professional knowledge of data collection.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft programs (Excel, Word, Power Point, etc.).
  • Excellent facilitation and negotiation skills.
  • Problem solving skills.
  • Collaborative team building skills.
  • Program development skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Current Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse licensure by the Georgia State Board of Nursing preferred.
