We are actively seeking a highly qualified Risk Liability Program Manager to join our team of dedicated Human Resources and Risk Management professionals. This position is critical in providing expert consultation and strategic direction to our managers, supervisors, and employees, contributing significantly to our organizational mission. As the Risk Liability Program Manager, you will play a pivotal role in administering the City's self-insured property and liability program and the City's insurance program. Additionally, you will have the opportunity for independent decisionmaking and progressively increasing claim settlement authority, directly impacting the City's risk management strategies. The ideal candidate for this role will possess professional experience in risk management, including providing expert guidance and consultation, overseeing the claims handling process, conducting claim investigations, and resolving property and liability claims. Risk certifications including CRP, ARM, CPCU, INS, RMP are helpful. Experience with the Origami Risk Management Information System (RMIS), or other RMIS’s is preferred but not required.
