About The Position

The Administrative Services department has an internship opportunity in their Risk Framework function. This role involves collaborating with team members to enhance risk and/or asset management processes and procedures, assisting in the communication and implementation of new standards, and promoting best practices for risk management. The intern will provide support for resolving risk issues, research emerging risk topics, and build relationships with business partners to act as a trusted advisor. The position requires applying an understanding of various risk types to support Enterprise compliance, vendor management, asset management, and risk management strategies. The role also involves utilizing Agile best practices and demonstrating strong critical thinking, collaboration, relationship building, and influence skills.

Requirements

  • Current college students majoring in Risk Information Security, Cybersecurity Risk Management/Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Risk Management/Risk Management & Insurance, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Business Analytics/Date Analytics, Economics with a graduation date of 2027 or later
  • A minimum GPA of 3.00 preferred (please include on your resume)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to collect, organize and interpret complex data
  • Ability to work independently or collaboratively in a small team and effectively partner with team members
  • Understanding of all types of risk to support and advance Enterprise compliance, vendor management, asset management and risk management strategies, policies, processes and tools
  • Highly analytical with data automation and calculations
  • Strong Problem Solving and Decision-Making skills
  • Collaboration, Relationship Building and Influence skills
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Must be a full-time student currently enrolled in an undergraduate or post-graduate program throughout the duration of the internship.
  • Selected interns must reside within the continental U.S. for the duration of the summer internship.
  • Applicants are required to be eligible to lawfully work in the U.S. immediately; employer will not sponsor applicants for U.S. work authorization (e.g. H-1B visa) for this opportunity

Responsibilities

  • Collaborating with team members to enhance risk and/or asset management processes and procedures
  • Assisting in the communication, presentation, implementation, and enforcement of new and updated risk and/or asset management standards, guidelines, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
