About The Position

The Risk Finance & Casualty Department is looking for an exceptional student to join their team as a summer intern. This is an onsite internship located in San Antonio, TX. The summer internship in the Risk Finance & Casualty Department will have exposure to multiple projects and task as listed below.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree (or higher degree) in Finance & Risk Management or related major required.
• Graduation dates of August 2027 through May 2029 required.
• Ability to work 40 hours per week during the internship required.
• Able and willing to work on-site and in-person at the Valero Headquarters in San Antonio, required.

Nice To Haves

• Overall GPA of 3.0 (or higher) on a 4.0 scale preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists with policy and contract reviews
• Assists with policy input for system project
• Assists, prepares and provides support for monthly ROCIP reporting
• Reviews daily reports identifying potential property recovery matters
• Assists, prepares and provides support for the closing of files for storage
• Assists, prepares and provides reports for system project
• Assists on website updates
• Assists with gathering information and data input for system project
• Assists monthly accounting entries
