About The Position

Zurich is seeking a Machinery Breakdown Risk Engineer. This position will be located in Upstate NY with have travel into this region. This is a field role with approximately 25% overnight travel. This is a work from home role and includes a company car. As a Machinery Breakdown Risk Engineer you are responsible for providing jurisdictional inspections and machinery breakdown risk assessment services for customers and business partners. You will also provide intermediate machinery breakdown consultative services to customers, including identifying exposures with significant loss potential, investigation of cause/effect of major losses and hazard/machinery breakdown management programs. Additionally, you will provide basic level training for customers, service design and coordination, marketing, and loss investigations. Final candidates will also be subject to a Motor Vehicle record background check, because this position includes a company car.

Requirements

Bachelors Degree and 8 or more years of experience in the Risk Engineering area OR High School Diploma or Equivalent and 10 or more years of experience in the Risk Engineering area OR Zurich Certified Apprentice, including an Associates degree and 8 or more years of experience in the Risk Engineering area
Knowledge of exposures, controls and best practice risk improvement
