About The Position

At BBH, Partnership is more than a form of ownership—it’s our approach to business and relationships. We know that supporting your professional and personal goals is the best way to help our clients and advance our business. We take that responsibility seriously. With a 200-year legacy and a shared passion for what’s next, this is the right place to build a fulfilling career. Risk Analyst – Operational Due Diligence At Brown Brothers Harriman, we believe no job is too big or small for any of us to handle if it helps our clients. We value passionate, committed people who enjoy collaborating with others to find new solutions to complex business challenges. We are looking for the type of person who speaks their mind, truly listens and steps outside their role to add value wherever they can. Someone who is driven to get things done and views obstacles as an exciting challenge that demands a creative solution. Above all, we seek someone who takes great pride in their work and is inspired and motivated by their role in protecting and enhancing our client’s financial well-being. If you are looking for an entrepreneurial environment where you can learn and thrive, Brown Brothers Harriman is the right place for you. Role Overview BBH is recruiting for a Risk Analyst – Operational Due Diligence to join our Risk Team. In this role, you will support the operational due diligence (ODD) review process and ongoing monitoring for investment managers approved for the Capital Partners investment platform. The population of managers includes internal and external products structured across multiple fund types, including registered funds, private funds, and separately managed accounts. Why this role matters: Your work helps ensure we understand how managers operate—not just what they invest in—by assessing the quality of controls, governance, and operational resiliency that protect client capital. You will help surface strengths and gaps early, document conclusions clearly, and support informed decision-making by internal oversight committees. You will participate in due diligence reviews across a broad set of non-investment topics, including portfolio implementation and monitoring, trading operations, fund accounting and administration, human capital management, regulatory compliance, legal entity and tax risks, information technology, cybersecurity, and business continuity/general business practices. Final due diligence reports are presented to an internal risk oversight committee and may also be presented to other BBH oversight committees and fund boards as needed. Additional responsibilities include helping create and present committee materials, supporting the investment manager negative news monitoring program, supporting the monthly portfolio compliance process, and contributing to broader risk and business initiatives. As needed, you will also work on risk management efforts outside the ODD program, providing a well-rounded risk management experience.
