Requirements

A thorough understanding of the hazard communication program.
Must have a total understanding of the shop packets released to the shop floor.
Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within manufacturing environment.
Regular attendance per the schedule assigned by supervisor.

High school diploma or its equivalent, desired.

Responsibilities

Safely load and unload machinery with proper tooling and products.
Perform manual tasks such as package, crate, label, count, and sort products.
Understand and follow all company policies and procedures.
Ensure that all guards and safety equipment have been installed and properly checked.
Meet or exceed production standards.
Maintain quality standards on all products.
Safely load and unload machinery with the proper tooling and product as directed by team leader or supervisor.
Maintain good housekeeping practices throughout the department.
Maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
Understand and follow all safety policies and procedures.
Understand and follow work procedures as set forth by all ISO documentation.
Read and interpret blueprints whenever required by operation.
Select the proper tooling and process set-up as directed by team leader or supervisor.
Perform other tasks as assigned.
Adhere to ISO 9001 Quality, ISO 14001 Environmental, and OSHAS 18001 certification requirements.
