About The Position

Rink Attendant Managers serve as the on-site supervisor of the City of Chanhassen's outdoor ice rinks and warming houses. Their primary responsibility is to provide leadership, enforce park rules, and implement safe recreation practices both on the rinks and in the warming house, while also overseeing scheduling and staff across all locations. Interviews will be conducted as applications are received until all positions have been filled.

Requirements

Applicants must be at least 16 years of age at the start of employment
Must possess strong interpersonal skills
Must be able to consistently work evenings and weekends
Must have reliable transportation to and from job site

Responsibilities

Ensuring appropriate behavior and safety guidelines are followed by participants in the warming house and skating areas
Create and maintain the staff schedule for all warming house locations
Occasionally check in on staff at the warming houses
Collect accident reports and information regarding accidents, disruptive behavior, or maintenance issues from staff and report to supervisor
Relay any feedback heard from staff or the community to supervisor
Carry out instructions given by supervisor promptly and accurately
Submit verbal and written reports and evaluations as required
Opening and closing duties daily
Participant counts taken hourly
Cleaning duties as assigned
Assist maintenance staff with rink maintenance and other duties as deemed necessary
