The supervisor will assure all activities are performed regarding safe operational practices and procedures to protect employees, the system, and the public. They will oversee functional areas including service, construction/maintenance, meter reading, leak survey, corrosion, measurement, instrumentation, and controls. The position involves managing multiple budgets, monitoring expenditures, and conducting annual performance reviews. Compliance with federal/state laws and company standards is crucial, as is maintaining productivity and safety standards through training programs. Coordination of material and personnel requirements, collaboration with engineering, and response to customer inquiries and emergencies are key responsibilities. The role includes preparing and maintaining records/reports, promoting company initiatives, and ensuring adherence to policies and regulations. Collaboration with other departments, quality control reviews, and participation in on-call rotations may be required. Field visits and establishing business relationships with developers and contractors are also part of the role, along with educating customers on natural gas. 24-hour on-call support for emergency response and incident reporting is expected.
