About The Position

The City of Pearsall is looking for a self-motivated and team-oriented individual to join our Right of Way Team. The Right of Way Maintenance Worker role is to maintain the city right of ways, ensuring the city roads, sidewalks, and other public areas are safe, accessible, and well-maintained. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a commitment to community service and problem-solving.

Requirements

• Experience in different types of lawn care equipment (zero turn mowers, weed eaters, chainsaws etc.)
• Possess at least a valid Texas Class C Driver's License
• Willing to work on-call and overtime hours
• Willing to maintain regular attendance on the job
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, other departments, and the public

Responsibilities

• Maintain the city right of ways.
• Ensure city roads, sidewalks, and other public areas are safe, accessible, and well-maintained.
