As part of our continued success, we are seeking a skilled and motivated Right-of-Way Agent to support property acquisition and relocation services for federally funded transportation and infrastructure projects. Requirements

  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Background in real estate, title work or similar industry
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues
  • Proven customer service expertise
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of the Uniform Relocation Assistance and Real Property Acquisition Policies Act (URA)
  • 2+ years of experience in acquisition, negotiation, relocation or related real estate work
  • Active Real Estate license in the state of Washington, Oregon, or Idaho
  • Familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations related to property acquisition

Responsibilities

  • Deliver acquisition and relocation services in compliance with the Uniform Relocation Act and project-specific regulations
  • Support federally funded transportation projects under the guidance of the Project Manager or project team
  • Prepare real estate conveyance documents and conduct basic property research, including ownership and boundary details
  • Communicate with property owners and their representatives regarding acquisition and relocation matters
  • Draft and manage project-related documents, reports, and correspondence
  • Attend meetings and maintain organized project files and records
  • Provide responsive customer service and clear communication to stakeholders
