By joining our Project Development Section as a Right of Way Agent I in Fayette County, you’ll have the opportunity to under immediate supervision, perform beginning level professional work in one or more phases of the highway Right-of-Way program.
Requirements
- Graduate of a college or university with a bachelor's degree in business administration, public administration, or related field.
- Must possess a valid driver's license to qualify for employment in this job classification.
- Within six (6) months of employment, shall provide the hiring agency documentation that employee is a Notary Public properly commissioned and bonded in the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
- Must maintain any required licensure(s), certification(s), or other credentials for the length of employment in this classification.

Responsibilities
- Assist appraisers in gathering data
- Meet with property owners to acquire proposed right-of-way
- Assist relocation agents in relocating displaced property owners
- Assist in property management
- Perform other duties as assigned
