The Rigging Specialist (Part-Time As Needed) is responsible for coordinating rigging and associated electrical requirements for produced events. This role serves as the primary liaison between the client sales staff and rigging engineer to ensure successful coordination of rigging requirements. The specialist will professionally interact with customers, team members, and third-party vendor/partner representatives to provide the highest level of service excellence. This position will support our Event & Exhibit Services team and requires a commitment to a safe work environment by following all safety policies and procedures, taking personal responsibility for safety, reporting hazards or concerns promptly, and contributing to a culture that prioritizes safety every day. The position follows an onsite schedule working on an as needed basis based out of Orlando, FL.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1+ years’ experience in labor coordination or exhibitor services preferred.
  • Proficient in MS Office suite.
  • Basic understanding of workplace safety practices and applicable OSHA requirements.
  • Ability to consistently follow safety rules and contribute to a positive safety culture.
  • OSHA 10 Certification required.

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain show files/show kits to ensure completion of required documentation.
  • Work with the Client Solutions Manager and clients to gather specifications and enter the appropriate systems.
  • Produce and process on-site work tickets as required.
  • Complete work tickets and enter dismantle labor.
  • Ensure labor tickets are signed by exhibitors.
  • Dispatch labor and obtain detailed information about installation upon return.
  • Create final billing reports for invoicing.
  • Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and work instructions.
  • Complete required safety training and apply safe work practices at all times.
  • Immediately report any workplace accidents, near misses, hazards, or unsafe conditions to a manager or through an appropriate reporting channel.
  • Participate in safety discussions and communicate concerns or feedback openly to help maintain a safe work environment.
  • Use tools, equipment, and protective gear properly to prevent injuries and incidents.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
