About The Position

MEI Industrial Solutions is seeking motivated individuals for their Rigger Apprenticeship Trainee Program. This program is designed to provide comprehensive training in rigging and machinery moving skills for individuals without prior experience. Participants will learn essential knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSAs) necessary to perform in various Machinery Moving/Rigging positions. The program includes hands-on training, activities, and assessments conducted in lab or field environments. MEI Industrial Solutions is a large provider of rigging, machinery moving, millwrighting, mechanical installation, industrial storage, crating, and export packing services across the United States, serving diverse industries such as Aerospace, Automotive, Construction, Data Center, Food Processing, Healthcare, Manufacturing, and Pharmaceutical.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • Commitment to learning and completing all program requirements
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
  • Willing and able to travel to training, if applicable
  • Must be able to pass a 5-panel drug test and a Criminal Background Check upon accepting an offer.

Responsibilities

  • Perform general physical activities requiring considerable use of arms and legs, including climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials up to 50 pounds.
  • Work in an outdoor environment year-round.

  • Deliver quality service to MEI's customers.
  • Complete all assignments, tasks, and assessments required by the program, including pre-work and homework.
  • Attend six, bi-monthly, 3-day seminars (in-person, with potential air travel) beginning in July 2026.
  • Travel to training locations as applicable.
