About The Position

MEI Industrial Solutions is seeking motivated individuals for their Apprentice Trainee program, offering a pathway to a skilled trades career in rigging and machinery moving. This program is designed for individuals with little to no prior experience, providing paid training to develop essential skills in a growing industry. MEI, a leading provider of rigging, machinery moving, millwrighting, and other industrial services since the early 1990s, serves a wide range of industries including Aerospace, Automotive, Construction, Data Center, Food Processing, Healthcare, Manufacturing, and Pharmaceutical. Requirements

Mechanically inclined.
Enjoy troubleshooting and fixing problems.
High School diploma or GED equivalent.
Committed to learning and completing all program requirements.
Fluent in English (written and spoken).
Willing and able to travel for training.
Must complete pre-employment contingencies: 5-panel drug test and Criminal Background Check.

Responsibilities

Learn and perform general physical activities requiring considerable use of arms and legs, including climbing, lifting (up to 50 pounds), balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials.

Complete all assignments, tasks, and assessments required by the program, including pre-work and homework.
Attend six bi-monthly, 3-day seminars in person (travel may be required).
