About The Position

Taurus Industrial Group is seeking a highly skilled Rig Welder to weld and fabricate metal components for oil rigs, pipelines, and other industrial projects. The work supports the safety and efficiency of these structures. The Rig Welder collaborates with team members to complete projects on time, within budget, and to high standards of quality and safety.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a welding apprenticeship program or equivalent experience.
• Certification in welding from a recognized institution.
• Experience working with a variety of welding techniques and materials.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to safety.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working on oil rigs or other industrial projects.
• Experience with automated welding equipment.
• Experience with non-destructive testing techniques.
• Experience with welding inspection and quality control.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding and fabrication work on metal components for oil rigs, pipelines, and other industrial projects.
