About The Position

Helix Resources is seeking experienced Rig Welders for field welding opportunities in South Louisiana and South Dakota. The role is for dependable, safety-conscious welders who have their own welding rig and can perform quality welds in the field. Compensation is competitive hourly pay based on welding experience, qualifications, and testing results. Potential overtime depends on project requirements. Pay rate and work schedule will be discussed during the interview.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Rig Welder.
• A properly equipped welding rig and reliable transportation, as required for the assignment.
• Ability to perform quality welds using the welding processes required for the project.
• Ability to read and understand welding procedures and technical drawings.
• Must provide personal welding equipment and PPE as required.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Must be able to pass any required pre-employment drug screening and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Perform field welding on piping, structural steel, and other metal components as required.
• Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and fabrication drawings.
• Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment.
• Perform welding repairs, installations, and modifications in accordance with project specifications.
• Inspect welds for quality, accuracy, and compliance with applicable standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all company and customer safety procedures.
