About The Position

FLINT is seeking Journeyperson Rig Welders with turnaround experience for a 3-week role in Conklin, Alberta (Christina Lake) starting September 12, 2026. This position offers a continuous work schedule of 24 days on and 4 days off, with 12-hour workdays. Successful candidates will receive camp accommodation, $300 travel pay, and benefits after 300+ hours worked. This role is identified as safety-sensitive and will require drug and alcohol testing.

Requirements

  • Valid Journeyperson Welder certificate/ticket.
  • CSTS-2020
  • H2S Alive
  • Confined Space Entry
  • Common Safety Orientation (CSO)
  • Fall Protection
  • WHMIS
  • B-Pressure welding ticket
  • Class-A welding ticket
  • CWB welding ticket
  • CS/SS welding ticket
  • Fully equipped welding truck with valid registration and insurance.
  • Physically capable of performing demanding job tasks in various work conditions.
  • Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication.
