About The Position

The primary purpose of this position is to provide strategic leadership for the planning, oversight, and implementation of multiple Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinics (CCBHC) and Crisis initiatives under the Rural Health Transformation Program (RHTP). RHTP is a five-year federal grant awarded by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) to improve healthcare access, quality, and outcomes in rural communities. The position oversees programmatic and operational activities for CCBHC, Mobile Outreach, Response, Engagement and Stabilization (MORES), and Integrated Rural Crisis initiatives, including directing multidisciplinary teams, partnering with leadership to develop a strategic vision for the projects, overseeing project planning and implementation requirements, and promoting quality improvement and performance monitoring. The role requires building consensus among internal and external stakeholders—including executive leadership, providers, and managed care organizations—to ensure initiatives are implemented effectively, achieve intended community impact, and are operationally feasible. The position is accountable for ensuring that CCBHC and Rural Crisis initiatives are executed according to timelines, governance structures, and compliance standards, and that staff have the guidance and resources needed to accomplish program goals. The role will coordinate across cross-functional teams, including operational, evaluation, and clinical staff in order to ensure that the strategic vision for these projects is realized and grant requirements are met.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in a discipline specific to the program from an appropriately accredited institution and four years of experience in the area of assignment, including two years in a supervisory or consultative capacity OR Bachelor's degree in a discipline specific to the program from an appropriately accredited institution and six years of experience in the area of assignment, including two years in a supervisory or consultative capacity OR An equivalent combination of education and experience.
