About The Position
Sentara Medical Group is seeking an experienced and passionate Rheumatologist to join our growing outpatient practice in beautiful Harrisonburg, Virginia. The position includes access to 2 Infusion Centers within the hospital. The clinic space is located on the hospital campus and is supported by experienced office and clinical staff. The schedule is flexible, offering a Monday-Friday option or 4 longer days with 1 day off. Both the hospital and clinic are equipped with EPIC, Dragon, Up to Date, and more. You will join a collegial Rheumatology team consisting of 2 Physicians and 1 NP, with light call duties, ensuring excellent work/life balance. Onsite Radiology services include X-Ray, MRI, CT, DEXA, and Nuclear imaging. A robust compensation package is offered, including a sign-on/commencement bonus of $49,500 and a strong patient referral program.
Requirements
- Board Certified or Eligible in Rheumatology.
- Experience as a Rheumatologist.
- Licensed or eligible for licensure in Virginia.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with EPIC, Dragon, and Up to Date.
- Experience working in a hospital-affiliated clinic.
Responsibilities
- Provide rheumatology care in an outpatient setting.
- Collaborate with a Rheumatology team of 2 Physicians and 1 NP.
- Utilize hospital and clinic resources including infusion centers, onsite radiology, EPIC, Dragon, and Up to Date.
- Manage patient care with support from experienced office and clinical staff.
