About The Position

We are seeking a dynamic Nurse Practitioner to join our practice in Corpus Christi! New Graduates are encouraged to apply. This role involves providing scheduled patient services under the direct supervision and responsibility of a physician in an outpatient clinic setting. The Nurse Practitioner will complete patient histories and physicals, determine tentative diagnoses, and order appropriate laboratory tests. They will also counsel patients and families on health and disease, participate in continuing education and training, and work a flexible schedule as dictated by business needs. The schedule is Monday-Friday (Monday-Thursday 8am-5pm, Friday 8am-12pm).

Requirements

State Licensed Nurse Practitioner License
New Graduates are welcomed and encouraged to apply

Rheumatology experience preferred but not required
Rheumatology training offered to those looking to specialize

Responsibilities

Dedicated to one physician
Provide scheduled patient services under the direct supervision and responsibility of a physician in an outpatient clinic setting
Complete patient histories and physicals
Determine tentative diagnosis and order appropriate laboratory tests
Counsel patient and family on health and disease
Participate in all continuing education, training, and other requirements to remain in good standing for credentialing purposes at assigned medical facilities
Work flexible schedule as dictated by business needs and operations
Perform other duties as assigned
