About The Position

This Hospitalist position focuses on wound management within post-acute care settings such as Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals. Physicians will conduct weekly wound rounds at assigned facilities. The role involves utilizing cutting-edge clinical technologies and the latest wound care modalities. Physicians will receive comprehensive training, including a wound fellowship, to become experts in wound management. The practice is mobile, covering a 40-60 mile radius and visiting 2-3 facilities per day, treating approximately 20-30 patients daily. Clinical documentation is performed in real-time at the point of care using a proprietary wound-specific EMR. No work visa sponsorship is available.

Requirements

Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state you wish to practice.
Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week.
Full, active, and unrestricted license in the state you wish to practice.
Minimum commitment of 3 days a week within our working days of Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

Become an expert in wound management.
Utilize cutting-edge clinical technologies and the latest wound care modalities.
Provide bedside wound care in over 3,200 facilities across 28 states.
Conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility.
Visit 2-3 facilities per day, treating approximately 20-30 patients per day.
Perform clinical documentation at the point of care, in real-time during clinical rounds, using proprietary wound-specific EMR.
