About The Position
This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated physician to join an employed position supported by a strong referral base and the full resources of a robust health system network. The role involves leading patient care within an assigned area by applying advanced diagnostic and treatment skills to improve individual health outcomes. It also includes advocating for clinical excellence by identifying and implementing strategies that enhance the quality of care and the cost-effectiveness of our services. The hospital, Ascension St. John, is a 600-bed ACS Verified Level I Trauma Center serving approximately one million people and is part of Ascension, a national nonprofit Catholic health system. The hospital is undergoing a modernization with over $100 million in investment, focusing on Women’s & Children’s services and more, and boasts the largest robotic fleet in northeastern Oklahoma. Tulsa is a vibrant city known for live music, family-friendly attractions, and a low cost of living, offering short commute times and affordable housing.
Requirements
- Physician MD/DO with Prescriptive Authority credentialed from the Oklahoma Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
Nice To Haves
- Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
