About The Position

DocStar Medical Partners is seeking a Rheumatologist for a job opportunity at a hospital facility in Massachusetts. This role involves providing outpatient rheumatology clinic coverage, including evaluation and management of rheumatologic conditions, follow-up visits, medication management, and coordination of care. The assignment is for 24 weeks with the potential for extension, starting as soon as credentialing is complete and ending on 12/27/2026. Credentialing typically takes 30-60 days, with expedited options available. The work schedule is Monday-Friday, 7 AM - 5 PM, requiring 6 shifts/sessions weekly. The patient volume is approximately 18 patients per day, with an annual clinic volume of around 2,000 visits. There are no specific procedures noted. The EMR system used is Epic. Call requirements include 1:3 weekends and rotating evening coverage. The department has two rheumatologists and over 10 orthopedic providers on site, with no APP coverage in the department.

Requirements

• MD/DO Provider
• BC Rheumatologist
• Active MA license required
• Board Certified required
• MD required
• Flu vaccination required with no exceptions/waivers accepted
• Outpatient clinic experience
• Must be able to work 6 shifts/sessions weekly
• Must provide current/most recent direct supervisor reference
