About The Position

CHI Health Clinic and Creighton University School of Medicine Department of Medicine in Omaha, Nebraska are seeking a Rheumatologist to join their growing team. This role involves providing high-quality patient care, participating in multidisciplinary meetings, and contributing to research and education initiatives. The position offers a 95% outpatient practice with a 1:3 call schedule for clinic calls and inpatient rounding. The work schedule is 4.5 days per week. The role includes participation in a vibrant teaching service with grand rounds, board review lectures, and medical school lectures. Responsibilities also include providing clinical bedside supervision and teaching for Internal Medicine residents and medical students. There is an opportunity to perform ultrasound-guided procedures if desired. The position is with a well-respected and experienced team, offering flexibility to pursue clinical and academic interests. Research opportunities are available if desired. Access to a large, established primary care network and the opportunity to practice and teach in a new state-of-the-art academic medical center are also provided. A faculty appointment with Creighton University School of Medicine is included.

Requirements

MD or DO degree
BE/BC - American Board of Internal Medicine Certification in Rheumatology
Ability to obtain licensure in Nebraska
DEA Certification
BLS
