About The Position

Glass Lewis is seeking an RFP (Request for Proposal) Writer to create clear, persuasive, and compliant response documents to win contracts and new business. This role combines project management, strategic messaging, and technical editing. In this role, you will articulate our leading Corporate Governance and ESG solutions to global asset owners, asset managers and other financial institutions. This role combines technical understanding, knowledge of financial services and corporate governance, and exceptional persuasive writing to help drive our B2B growth. This position is well suited for someone looking to build a career in financial services sales or client service. Ideal candidates will be able to demonstrate exceptional organization and communication skills, have an interest in Corporate Governance and ESG issues, and have the desire and ability to learn quickly.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Business, Finance, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of professional writing experience, preferably focusing on proposal development, technical writing, or grant writing.
  • Exceptional written communication, collaboration with multiple stakeholders, extreme attention to detail, and proven project management abilities under tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Salesforce, and modern proposal automation or AI-assisted software.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end RFP project including coordination with internal subject matter experts (SME), internal timeline and deliverables, document and requirement management, and final presentation preparation.
  • Thoroughly review incoming Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Information (RFIs), and Security Questionnaires from institutional investors to extract technical, security, and compliance requirements and understand key evaluation criteria.
  • Work closely with sales, finance, legal, product management, client success, marketing and subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather accurate information and insights and translate complex capabilities into clear, value-driven answers.
  • Draft executive summaries, technical approaches, and cover letters while editing content contributed by other team members.
  • Maintain and update a centralized database of standard answers, templates, and past proposals.
  • Verify that final submissions adhere strictly to brand guidelines, style rules, and client submission requirements.
  • Collaborate with commercial and product teams to build and maintain a library of enablement materials.
