RFP Content Lead - P&C Business Development

About The Position

The RFP Content Lead, P&C is responsible for all writing and ongoing improvement of content within RFPs, sales materials, presentations, or special projects and for writing technical, concise, engaging copy, as needed, specific to P&C. Information created is to inform employers about available benefits for employees, P&C, and public sector entities. This role will also support various writing projects–based on skillset and need–within the Day Two Services umbrella.

  • 3+ years of experience in health insurance
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in benefits regulations, industry trends, and best practices to ensure our communication efforts remain compliant and competitive.

  • Experience with Asana, Ziflow, and Loopio
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds

  • Repetitive hand movements, such as keyboarding, writing, 10-key

Responsibilities

  • Complies with organization and usage of content library and writing style guide
  • Clearly and promptly informs the working team when information is ready for next step or when information needs to be clarified or provided within a project
  • Proactively identifies opportunities and works with the business development and writing team to improve processes
  • Remains abreast of industry changes, trends, regulations, and updates, folding in learnings to content, as relevant
  • Manage a large workload with varying needs, client-specific details, and strict timelines.
  • Consistent build and upkeep of P&C content library tailored to RFP responses, capabilities and finalist presentations, and adjacent sales materials as requested.
  • Effectively interpret P&C and benefit requirements, and summaries to ensure RFP responses are accurately written to enhance client needs and improvements to their program.
  • Review all assets and intake direction to grasp RFP requirements, finalist presentations, or collateral to be created.
  • Assess prospect needs, respond to project questions with the most accurate and impactful responses, manage producer feedback, and ensure final content is delivered error-free and meets client requirements.
  • Annotate templates or create client-specific content that educates and informs employers and employees.
  • Suggests or questions wording if content is unclear, always providing alternative options.
  • Guides and collaborates with producers and account managers in RFP or presentation best practices, consistently applying appropriate edits to client-specific needs.
  • Ideate and suggest graphics and visual elements to enhance copy for all business development outputs.
  • Work closely with designers, proofreaders, and project managers to adhere to timelines and project requirements, producing the best possible collateral.
  • Lead white paper creation in collaboration with Business Development and Employee Benefit Communications teams. Write monthly white papers and adjacent posting content, inclusive of LinkedIn captions, posting graphic copy, and alternatives for other social platforms are required.
