About The Position
pSemi Corporation, a Murata company, is seeking an RFIC Intern for Summer 2026 to assist engineers in the design, development, and characterization of semiconductor products for mobile wireless RF front-end applications. This role supports the entire product lifecycle, from definition to end-of-life, focusing on products such as RF switches, power amplifiers, low noise amplifiers, digital tunable capacitors, and IC filters.
Requirements
- Knowledge of RF measurements (NF, IP3, IP2, S-parameters, matching using smith charts, time domain measurements).
- Knowledge of analog and RF IC Design.
- Familiarity with EM concepts and RF layout techniques (board or interposer).
- Proficiency in software tools: Cadence, ADS, Python/Matlab, MS Office.
Nice To Haves
- RF/analog IC product characterization and RF measurement techniques with strong technical skills.
- Strength in documentation clarity and completeness.
- Preference for working in a collaborative group and cross-functional team environment.
- Familiarity with Cadence, ADS and/or HFSS CAD tools.
Responsibilities
- Perform lab measurements and create validation reports to compare with design expectations.
- Utilize RF measurement equipment to validate the performance of CMOS RF ICs.
- Measure, analyze, and document data to ensure adherence to product requirements.
- Assist engineers with the simulation and layout of derivative product designs in Cadence.
