Learn more at www.silabs.com. Meet the Team You’ll join Silicon Labs’ RFIC Design Team, developing radio transceivers for innovative IoT wireless products. Our team designs the analog, mixed-signal, and RF circuitry that enables reliable wireless communication across Silicon Labs’ portfolio. As a new college graduate, you’ll work alongside experienced engineers and apply your academic knowledge to real-world RF design challenges while building expertise across the integrated circuit development lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Academic or project experience in RF, analog, or mixed-signal circuit design.
  • Understanding of fundamental circuit analysis and design principles.
  • Experience with RF circuit concepts through coursework, research, internships, or project work.
  • Familiarity with circuit simulation, modeling, and design-analysis methods.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
  • Ability to interpret technical requirements and evaluate circuit performance.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative engineering environment and communicate technical concepts clearly.

Nice To Haves

  • Internship, co-op, research, or project experience related to RF, analog, or mixed-signal IC design.
  • Exposure to radio transceiver architectures and wireless communication systems.
  • Experience with RF measurement, simulation, or laboratory equipment.
  • Knowledge of signal processing principles.
  • Exposure to integrated circuit design tools and semiconductor design workflows.
  • Familiarity with common RF concepts, including noise, linearity, gain, matching, and frequency response.
  • Participation in engineering competitions, technical organizations, research publications, or relevant student leadership activities

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop RF, analog, and mixed-signal circuits for wireless transceivers.
  • Perform circuit analysis, simulation, modeling, and design verification.
  • Evaluate design performance against technical requirements and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Support the development of radio transceiver from initial concept through implementation and validation.
  • Analyze simulation and laboratory data to troubleshoot circuit performance.
  • Collaborate with RF, analog, digital, layout, systems, validation, and product engineering teams.
  • Document design decisions, technical results, and engineering recommendations.
  • Develop technical expertise through mentorship, design reviews, and hands-on project experience.
