About The Position

Richemont, a global leader in the luxury sector, is seeking an RFBO Inventory Analyst for its Americas division in Shelton, CT. This role is crucial for driving operational efficiencies within the retail network by conducting internal control reviews, managing transaction reporting, and providing training on internal controls to retail teams. The position involves supporting day-to-day operations, managing financial aspects of boutique openings/closings, and collaborating on finance projects. The analyst will also be responsible for issuing monthly control reports, resolving inventory transfer issues, and assisting with physical inventories. A key part of the role includes performing boutique internal control reviews and cycle counts, as well as handling 'Red Light Reporting' and providing compliance-related guidance to retail teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the year to locations in the United States and Canada.
  • Knowledge of SAP, Inventory, and prior work travel experience preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially in Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups, macros).
  • Experience with Microsoft SharePoint and Teams a plus.
  • Ability to design workflows and procedures.
  • Ability to coordinate projects and deal with conflicting priorities.
  • Communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders at all levels in Maisons.
  • Handle a complicated matrix-based organization in a highly customer-centric environment.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day support and troubleshooting to maintain accurate boutique accounts.
  • Perform day-to-day controls, including end-of-day procedures and monthly closings.
  • Manage the finance aspects of new boutique openings, internalizations, and closings.
  • Engage in finance projects and provide strong support for project implementation, collaborating with other functions.
  • Issue monthly internal control reports to boutiques and ensure timely follow-up.
  • Resolve transfer issues between boutiques and warehouses.
  • Assist with physical inventory, including preparation, support, and reconciliation.
  • Perform, monitor, and understand all inventory transactions to ensure accuracy and proper execution.
  • Perform Boutique Internal Control Reviews, verifying physical inventory existence and assessing control functionality.
  • Handle Red Light Reporting.
  • Provide training and education to retail teams and serve as a main contact for compliance-related issues.
  • Perform monthly cycle counts for all retail boutiques.
