About The Position

Arcticom, LLC provides network and systems administration, enterprise architecture and resource planning, certification and accreditation, software design, programming, maintenance of telecommunications and land mobile radio equipment and systems, help desk support and IT transformation services among other services. Requirements

  • Associate degree in Electronics or IT (or equivalent experience).
  • Hands-on experience installing, programming, troubleshooting, and repairing RF equipment and two-way radio systems.
  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • Proficiency in RF system configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong technical and analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Must always maintain a constant state of mental alertness.
  • Ability to lift 60+ lbs., work at heights up to 150 ft, and operate lifts/forklifts.
  • Must always maintain a constant state of situational awareness.
  • Pass a pre-employment drug screening and have acceptable background check results.
  • Obtain and maintain the appropriate clearance levels required and must also be able to obtain access to military installations (if applicable to the contract).

Nice To Haves

  • RF Certification (e.g., ETA, NARTE, or equivalent).
  • IP networking experience.

Responsibilities

  • Install and service UHF/VHF, DAS, microwave, and other wireless communication systems.
  • Program basic and mid-level code plugs for two-way radios and related equipment.
  • Perform mobile radio installations, troubleshooting, and repairs.
  • Recommend appropriate equipment and solutions to meet customer needs.
  • Support the sales process through technical expertise and customer communications.
  • Some regional travel and on-call hours are required.
