About The Position

Visium Resources is seeking qualified candidates for several direct-hire RF Technician positions in Orlando, Florida. The RF Technician tunes, tests, and verifies RF filters and oscillators to ensure they meet customer expectations. The work includes tuning lumped-element (LC), crystal, and cavity-based RF filters, as well as RF oscillators such as TCXOs, VCXOs, and OCXOs. The technician also performs environmental tests as needed to verify compliance with customer specifications.

The role uses a range of test equipment and includes basic oscillator setup for frequency and output power SOT components. The technician is expected to work self-sufficiently in their main work area and update tracking boards and floor queues as needed.

Requirements

• Basic understanding of electrical and electronic circuits.
• Associate degree in electronics or equivalent experience, such as military training.
• Level II: Two years of soldering experience required.
• Level III: Minimum of two years of technician experience, including mastery of difficult models.
• Level IV: Minimum of five years of technical experience.
• Level V: Minimum of ten years of advanced technician experience.

Responsibilities

• Tune, test, and verify RF filters and oscillators against customer expectations and specifications.
• Tune lumped-element (LC), crystal, and cavity-based RF filters.
• Perform basic oscillator setup for frequency and output power SOT components.
• Perform environmental tests as required to verify compliance with customer specifications.
• Work independently in the main work area.
