RF Software Engineer 3 - (C++, Linux, Python)

Akina•Annapolis Junction, MD

About The Position

The RF Software Engineer 3 develops, maintains, and enhances complex software systems based on documented requirements, individually or as part of a team. The role includes developing DSP algorithms and designing, coding, integrating, testing, debugging, and modifying software, with C++, Linux, Python, or a similar development language. Work may involve processing-intensive analytics, large data sets, real-time systems, complex algorithms, database interfaces, and strict timing, resource, or interface constraints. The engineer analyzes user and system requirements, derives software design and performance requirements, contributes to system design decisions, and works with system and hardware engineers to understand project limitations, capabilities, and interfaces. The position also involves resolving software problem reports, reviewing and testing components, documenting results, supporting software installation, monitoring equipment operation, and improving software development processes and documentation. Depending on the project, the engineer may lead or oversee development teams and perform quality control on team products. The position requires a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph. It is located in Annapolis Junction, Maryland.
