About The Position

The Senior RF Engineer will provide senior-level radio frequency and radar subject matter expertise in support of advanced Department of Defense and Intelligence Community programs. The engineer will conduct and oversee all-source technical analysis of complex foreign air defense and weapon systems, develop and apply radar system and subsystem models and simulations, and assess system performance to support U.S. acquisition programs, test and evaluation activities, operational warfighters, and senior decision-makers. The role will lead complex, multidisciplinary technical efforts; advise government sponsors and program teams; translate intelligence and engineering findings into actionable recommendations; and prepare authoritative technical reports, briefings, training, and conference materials for technical and executive audiences.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a closely related engineering discipline.
15 or more years of progressively responsible experience in RF engineering, radar systems, weapon system analysis, or a related technical field.
Demonstrated expertise in radar systems and subsystems and complex foreign air defense or weapon systems.
Experience conducting or leading all-source scientific and technical intelligence analysis.
Experience developing or applying modeling and simulation methods to complex weapon system or aircraft survivability problems.
Experience providing technical leadership, oversight, and advice to Department of Defense, Intelligence Community, acquisition, test and evaluation, or operational organizations.
Demonstrated ability to lead complex technical programs and multidisciplinary teams.
Ability to prepare and present technical findings to senior government and mission stakeholders.
Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance and ability to satisfy the position's counterintelligence polygraph requirement.

Nice To Haves

More than 25 years of experience in radar, RF, scientific and technical intelligence, or foreign weapon system analysis.
Experience advising major aircraft acquisition programs, including advanced or special access programs.
Experience leading high-value hardware, foreign materiel exploitation, or multinational technical programs.
Detailed knowledge of U.S. and allied Intelligence Community organizations, missions, and technical coordination processes.
Experience leading international intelligence exchanges or technical collaboration with allied partners.
Experience designing and teaching technical radar courses.
Experience mentoring engineers and analysts and providing senior technical oversight.
Experience organizing and leading large technical conferences involving government, military, Intelligence Community, and defense industry participants.

Responsibilities

Serve as the senior RF and radar subject matter expert for complex foreign air defense and weapon system analyses.
Provide technical oversight for radar system and subsystem analysis supporting warfighter, policy, acquisition, and test and evaluation customers.
Lead large, complex technical and hardware programs, including multinational and foreign materiel exploitation efforts.
Conduct and guide all-source scientific and technical intelligence analysis of current and future weapon systems.
Develop, apply, and assess modeling and simulation studies to characterize radar and weapon system performance and aircraft survivability.
Advise major U.S. acquisition programs and other government stakeholders on technical risks, capabilities, and analytical findings.
Plan and lead technical exchanges, conferences, and collaborative activities involving the Intelligence Community, defense industry, military services, and allied partners.
Prepare and deliver technical briefings, reports, and presentations for senior government, defense, and operational audiences.
Mentor engineers and analysts and develop or deliver technical radar training for the government workforce.
Support requirements development and coordinate multidisciplinary technical work across government and industry teams.
