About The Position

Supports production of complex multi-function modules for high-reliability applications across the product lifecycle. Resolves technical problems associated with implementation of operational products. Collaborates with hardware, systems, circuit design engineers, and manufacturing support personnel. Uses RF microwave test equipment for troubleshooting and testing. Uses microwave simulation tools for design and analysis. Applies knowledge of RF subsystems including antennas, transmitters, receivers, microwave components, low noise amplifiers, high power amplifiers, electronic modules, mixers, switches, frequency generation circuits, and frequency conversion circuits. Develops technical documentation including specifications, schematic drawings, and test data. Leads failure investigations on production or technical issues. Works with microelectronics assembly techniques. Interfaces with customers including technical presentations.

Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
  • Active Secret clearance required to start.
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering or STEM with 5+ years of relevant professional engineering experience.
  • Experience with troubleshooting designs and resolving integration issues in a production or manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with hands-on hardware.
  • Experience with RF microwave test equipment and microwave simulation tools.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related field.
  • Significant relevant experience in the defense electronics industry.
  • Expertise with RF subsystems and hardware including antennas, transmitters, receivers, microwave components, low noise amplifiers, high power amplifiers, electronic modules, mixers, switches, frequency generation circuits, and frequency conversion circuits.
  • Experience with microelectronics assembly techniques and technical documentation including specifications, schematic drawings, and test data.
