About The Position

Analog Devices is seeking to hire a product engineer to support the development of RF/microwave designs to be used in Communications, Test & Measurement Instrumentation, Industrial, and Aerospace and Defense. This exciting role will offer the opportunity to work with and learn from some of our top industry leading RF and microwave professionals. The RF/Microwave Amplifier MMIC Design Group is seeking an Amplifier MMIC Design Engineer for developing world class RF/Microwave/Millimeter-wave GaAs and GaN LNA/Driver Amplifier/Power Amplifier MMICs.

Requirements

  • Experience with GaAs and/or GaN semiconductor technologies, MMIC design and layout, electro-magnetic simulation, thermal analysis and industry standard EDA tools like ADS and Momentum/RFPro/Sonnet.
  • MSEE/PhD degree in EE with background in RF/microwave engineering, with a minimum of 7+ years of experience.
  • Must be a US citizen or green card holder
  • Proficiency with EDA tools: Cadence, ADS, AWR, Ansys HFSS, Sonnet, Momentum, RFPro etc.
  • Knowledge of GaAs and/or GaN device physics and modeling
  • Microwave/millimeter-wave circuit/system design experience
  • Proficiency with RF/microwave test equipment and measurement techniques, e.g. spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, signal generators, power meters, etc.
  • Must have excellent teamwork and communications skills

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of PA linearization and efficiency enhancement is a plus
  • Ph.D. in relevant areas could be counted towards industry experience depending on the thesis.
