About The Position

Texas Instruments is seeking an (RF) Engineering Technician to join our team in Advanced Technology Development - Device Characterization Lab. This is an excellent opportunity to develop and gain expertise in a wide range of test and measurement equipment and to develop new technical skills in an exciting development environment. In this role you will be responsible for: Technical functions in support of engineering activities such as on-wafer RF/DC/Pulse characterization of components during process development, SPICE modeling and new measurement development. Supporting Load-pull and RF noise figure on-wafer characterization up to 70GHz. Applications may include analog, RF, high-speed digital technology components, ESD (TLP) characterization and wafer testing under mechanical stress. Work with test chip layouts, diagrams, written, and verbal descriptions or defined plans to perform testing, checkout and trouble-shooting functions. Conduct engineering tests and detailed experimental testing to collect technology data or assist in research work. Perform operational test and fault isolation on systems and equipment. Supporting equipment readiness, calibration, lab safety and compliance.

Requirements

On-wafer RF/DC/Pulse characterization of components during process development, SPICE modeling and new measurement development.
Load-pull and RF noise figure on-wafer characterization up to 70GHz.
Analog, RF, high-speed digital technology components, ESD (TLP) characterization and wafer testing under mechanical stress.
