SDL provides a well-equipped test lab for this purpose. The position requires interest and knowledge in receiver and LNA design, as well as transmitter and SSPA design. Familiarity with switch mode power supplies, digital control systems, and RF system testing of subassemblies and final assemblies is also necessary. A strong work ethic, curiosity, and intelligence are essential. The selected candidate will collaborate with team members, receive mentorship from experienced engineers, and be considered a key asset to SDL's mission. The Civil & Commercial Space Division is involved in cutting-edge scientific research and space exploration, equipping missions with advanced sensors and satellites, and providing AI&T technologies and mission management for projects across planetary science, Earth observation, heliophysics, and astrophysics.
